For Thursday, April 19 and Tuesday, April 24, the testing for 5/6th hour classes will be during the second block of the day. The 2nd block (3rd & 4th hours) will be the during the third block. Spring Fling Date: Saturday, May 12, 2018 Place: Chequamegon Middle School, Glidden Campus Cost: Dance: $5.00 Bus: $2.00 Leaving Park Falls High School back parking lot at 5:40 PM and returning at 9:20 PM Music: Party Starter DJ Service This is a semi-formal dance that will have concessions available. The Chequamegon School District buses have been contracted to provide transportation. Please note that students will be held accountable for the school’s expectations with regard to rules and consequences while being transported between schools and during the dance. There will be adult supervision on the buses provided by the Spring Fling Parent Group who will be in communication with the police and the school about inappropriate behaviors. The Spring Fling Parent Group also requests that any student(s) having had behavior concerns within the community or the school environments be accompanied by an adult who will assume responsibility for them on the bus and during the dance. Any behavior concerns that occur at the dance or on the bus will be referred to the Ashland County Police or the Park Falls City Police. Safety and proper handling of such incidents will be managed by law enforcement to avoid any possible issues. This event has become a wonderful tradition that the parent group would like to see continue for years to come. With the help of all adults, it should be a peaceful, fun and well attended event! At this time the cast has been established and the different production crews assigned. Each student will play an important part in this production and it will be a great way to experience what it is like to create a play. I would like to have the students perform the play next Friday. We have the sets prepared and have been organizing sound effects, props and scenery. If your child brings in an item for the play I will keep in in my office and make sure it is sent home on Friday. Thank you for help. Parent/Family are invited to come in to watch the performance. Each class will perform twice, and the play takes about 20 minutes. This will be in the morning and other classes will be attending as well.
